SIMRIT – Sound of the Soul Retreat
The Sound of the Soul Retreat is an intimate, immersive experience led by internationally celebrated artist SIMRIT, whose music, life story and teachings have inspired audiences around the world. Set amidst the lush beauty and sacred energy of Bali, this retreat weaves together chanting, singing, sacred music, some Kundalini yoga, meditation, wisdom teachings, and meaningful community into a life-changing journey of healing through sound, deep inspiration, and renewal. Together, Simrit and her team will guide you step by step in this daily journey, so all you have to do is show up and relax.
Each day is thoughtfully curated to create space for both deep inner work and joyful living! Begin your mornings with light yoga, meditation, chanting and nourishing rituals. Spend your afternoons in inspiring chanting and singing workshops, meaningful discussions, and time to rest, swim, journal, spa or simply be present. As the sun sets, gather for powerful evenings of live music(Simrit and local Indonesian musicians), singing, chanting, dance, storytelling, and heartfelt connection. We will have many wonderfully soul inspiring music, dance and art sessions each day and night for you to enjoy.
Throughout your stay, you'll be nourished by a thoughtfully curated Balinese-inspired menu, featuring delicious, wholesome meals prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal is designed to compliment the retreat experience, supporting vitality, restoration, and mindful connection around the table. Whether you are seeking clarity, healing, inspiration, creative renewal, or simply a chance to unplug and reconnect with what truly matters, Sound of the Soul offers a sanctuary where transformation unfolds naturally.
No previous yoga, meditation, or musical experience is required—only a willingness to explore.
**Sample Itinerary**(exact daily schedule will be provided upon arrival and there will be one day where there is a half day excursion to a sacred site early in the day):
6am: mystical morning yoga and chanting
7am: tea, open time & breakfast
10am-12noon: soulful sound workshop
12pm-3pm: open time & lunch

Your retreat includes five nights of accommodations at Lumina Sanctuary, breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, and the full Sound of the Soul Retreat experience with SIMRIT.

Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided daily. Lumina Sanctuary serves organic, healthy, anti-inflammatory meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We strictly exclude highly processed sugars and chemical additives from both our restaurant and your in-room minibar, replacing them with wholesome, house-made refreshments. Every dish is crafted to honor your health without compromising on rich, natural flavor.

This retreat welcomes all levels and is designed as a journey of self-discovery, connection, and renewal rather than a performance-based experience. Whether you're completely new to these practices or have years of experience, you are welcome.
